City Hall Administration Walk-In Traffic Closed – March 19, 2020

Effective immediately, walk-in traffic to City Administration (Building Inspection, Planning/Zoning, Finance, Human Resources, Clerk, and City Administrator) is closed. The Police Department will remain open.

If you are paying bills, requesting a dog license, utility billing, or other items, a drop box is located in the parking lot between the flag poles and you are encouraged to drop your item there. People can still mail these items to the City.

If you are dropping off building plans for the Building Inspection Department or picking up building permits, please contact the Building Inspection Department to make arrangements for your permits.

City Administration offices will continue to remain open with some Staff working in their office and some Staff working remotely. You are encouraged to contact the person or Department by telephone or email. Specific contact information is below and can also be found on the City’s website at www.veronawi.gov.

Administration Structure & Staff


Administration includes the offices of the City Administrator, Finance Director / Treasurer, and City Clerk.

The department is responsible for the direction, coordination and administration of the day-to-day operations of the city. This includes responsibility for the overall fiscal activities of the city’s operations including:
  • Accounts payable
  • Accounts receivable
  • Budget preparation
  • Investment of idle funds
  • Payroll processing
  • Tax collections

Responsibilities


The City Administrator directly supervises the managers of all city departments and is responsible for the administration of all city contracts and preparation and administration of the annual budget and 5-year capital plan for submission to the City Council. The Administration Office is also responsible for elections and voter registration as well as meeting agendas, meeting minutes and other official city documents.
